To All,
I feel that this is one of those amazing stories that needs to be shared. First, I want to say that God allows people to cross your path in your life for a reason. You have to be aware to catch those signs and watch for them along your life's journey because He does not put them there for a reason. Once I share this story with you, you will know what I mean.
I have always considered myself to be health conscious but really what did that mean? I really didn't know what it all meant until I started going to God's Little Garden and met Paula and Calvin. Like everyone, I wanted to feel good and be healthy. I had breast cancer in 1990 and I didnt want to experience cancer ever, ever again. I started out slow changing little things in my diet and taking supplements. This was an area that I thought I knew something about but soon realized, I knew very little about it. I did research on every herb and vitamin I put into my mouth to see what it did. You have to listen to what my body says and know what feels right and what doesn't.
After having breast cancer in 1990 and a mastectomy, which half of my lymph nodes in my armpit were removed, I developed lymphadema about 5 years later. I learned how to massage and wrap my arm to help reduce the fluid in it. I did this every night and it was just something that I knew I had to do. I began having infections in that arm which they call cellulitis. When that happened, red spots appeared on my entire arm and it would swell and would just ache. I would always run a fever at the beginning when they appeared. This would put me in bed for at least a day until the antibiotics I took began to kill the infection. The infection felt like it affected my entire lymph system. At first, the antibiotics started out normal, two times a day for ten days, but soon over a ten year period, as I got more immune to the antiboitics, the dosage, the kind I could take and the length I needed to take them was increased to four times a day over sometimes a four week period. The infections seemed to be happening more and more. Of course during this period of time while trying to get over the infection, I didn't feel well at all. I had headaches, body aches, and stomach aches. I thought the first thing I needed to do was build up my immune system and that would solve everything, but unfortunately, that was only the tip of the iceberg. I talked at length with Paula and Calvin for about two years regarding these infections. Their suggestion was for me to pull the bacteria out of my arm with charcoal and clay. That was frightening to me and I didn't think I was ready to do something like that especially with not knowing what would happen to my arm and how long it would take to do that. I was uneasy about the unknown.
Until last year, while I was being on vacation, I got an infection. It was worse than I had ever had before. The doctor told me I should have gone to the emergency room to get an IV antibiotic. My arm was red, my lymph nodes in my entire body hurt, I was running a high fever, and in bed again until the antibiotic kicked in. When we got back home, I knew I could not do this again but it happened again in 2 weeks. I made up my mind then that it was time to try the charcoal wrap. I could not go through this again.
This was definitely a commitment on my part. I followed Calvin and Paula's advice and I would wrap my arm in a charcoal poultice in the morning and then change it at night and rewrap it again. I was very, very nervous as to what was going to happen because I was definitely treading into unknown territory. Once beginning the treatment, spots appeared daily jumping to areas that I didn't have wrapped. So I ended up wrapping the entire arm from my fingers to my armpit. On the spots that opened up I put colloidal silver on them to kill the bacteria that was living under my skin. I had a detox taking place in the lymph system which my neck, middle back, lower back, legs, wherever the lymph glands were I hurt. What I would have done without Calvin and Paula I have no idea because they had an explanation for it all...my lymph system was detoxing! That whole process took six weeks. But in the whole scheme of things, that was time well spent because I have NOT had an infection in that arm for over 2 1/2 years now! I have been taking baby steps changing my diet and paying very close attention to my overall health...and the result has been amazing!
I truly believe that God allowed Paula ans Calvin to come into my life for a reason...thank you Paula and Calvin...love you both!
